The bears are active on our property this year. Be aware of your surroundings when outside your condo, walking the property or enjoying the firepit area. Never leave food in your car or outside your condo. Don't throw food over the balcony. Don't leave food, trash or birdfood in your storage room. If you encounter a bear, back away slowly. Don't run. Pick up small children and pets as you back away. If the bear follows you, raise your arms above your head to look bigger and make loud noises. Never approach a bear or cub and don't get between a cub and the mom. For more information, google "bear aware."
